Surface protection consists of applying a layer of protection to the paint surface. This layer is most often composed of mulberry paper applied with a supple and reversible adhesive. The goal of this operation is to keep the paint layer in place while the work is being treated, either on its back layer (consolidation of tearing, deformation resorption), or on the paint layer itself.
