Location

Located in Lyon in the heart of the Brotteaux neighborhood, only five minutes from the Part-Dieu railway station and the Brotteaux and Massena metros, the studio is situated discreetly in an interior courtyard.

Space

Vast and welcoming, the studio features high windows of 40 square meters, which diffuse a high concentration of daylight ideal for restoratioon work. With its 150 square meter surface area and high ceilings, which measure between 3.5 and 4 meters, the studio has the space necessary for the smooth organization of work and the treatment of large formats.

Security

The studio and the strongroom are secured by a volumetric and perimeter alarm system, as well as an ATSE fire detection system. All systems are linked to a telephone transmitter.

Quality

Over time, the studio has built up an excellent reputation. Our emphasis on and commitment to quality is a foundational value.

This is reflected in the quality of our services, as we place high emphasis on attention to detail, but also in regular investments of high-tech material. The studio is well-equipped for studies, restoration work, and the documentation of paintings.

The quality of relationships with our clients is also paramount, characterized by reactivity, attentive listening, and a respect for deadlines. In a short time, the studio has become highly performing and recognized on a regional, national, and international level.

Library

The library holds numerous works that allow the work-to-be-restored to be situated in its historical and artistic context, but also to begin an estimate while waiting for the decision of an expert.

Internet access to sites relevant to confided works is also available and widely consulted in the studio.

Studio Equipment

In order to conduct studies that are as precise as possible, the studio is equipped with a trinocular magnifying glass mounted on an adjustable stand This appliance is equipped with a camera and screen monitor connection, which allows us to give detailed visual explanations of our work during the study phase or during the mechanical scraping process.

The studio is equipped with a vacuum pump for vacuum-sealed lining.

The studio is equally equipped with necessary material such as heated spatulas, leister, light boxes, digital and silver film cameras, UV lights, raking lights, a lining iron for consolidation, extendable frames, electronic scales, and computers.

The studio has been recently outfitted with an infrared camera, which allows the study of underlayers.

The purchase of a heated table is planned for the near future.
